Happy Birthday to Me

Thank you to everyone I have ever met during my 29 years so far on this planet. Thank you especially to my mother who endured around 12 hours of labor for my birth. Thank you also to my father for important secrets about life. Thank you to my brother for someone to kick around or kick around with.

Thank you to my wife --you know why.

Thank you to my kids --you will never understand why.

Thank you to my family at large. Thank you to my friends, those who stood by me for short times or long times. Raise a glass one and all, and have a nice toast on me!

Thank you most of all to God. You put me here, and although I have sometimes in the past questioned why, I do so no longer. I still know very little as to my purpose, but I live every day safe in the knowledge that if I keep my eyes open you reveal it to me as you have always revealed it ... one day at a time.
