Musical Holocron: Producers Howl Over Sound Cut Out by MP3 Compression
I have a blog about music, but although it's recently reached 200 posts, they are mostly just a feed of MP3 and MIDI file links that I've discovered (usually through del.icio.us. My original goal was to get these files downloaded to my cell phone and make the site WML compatible. I wanted the files for ring tones.
I've never devoted enough time to getting this working right, but the site managed to start getting a following anyway simply because of the music files and the information about them. However, I recently wrote a short response to an opinion article about modern music compression in MP3 files and how music producers feel about it. Go read this at Musical Holocron and let me know what you think.
