MOVIE REVIEW: The Last Airbender

Hey, I just posted a movie review over at Arconati Kid Korner for The Last Airbender. Go check it out and let me know what you think.

I've mentioned writing book reviews before but I also want to write about movies sometimes, so this is what you get today. I started writing the review shortly after seeing the movie over the holiday weekend in Chicago with my in-laws. I was writing it on their new computer with Windows 7, something else I could review (harshly)... but not right now.

Update (2010-07-11): There is a rather scathingly funny review of The Last Airbender on Cracked.com that you should check out. They place the blame pretty squarely on the director, M. Night Shyamalan. Perhaps they are correct, but my thought is that to err is human but to really screw things up requires an entire film crew.
